Ground Support When Walls Can't Carry the Load
In buildings with glass facades, lightweight partition walls, or finished surfaces where drilling is prohibited, wall-mounting a radiator is not an option. This floor stand provides an alternative path for the load-directly to the floor slab. The stand cradles the radiator from underneath, using a wide base to distribute weight and prevent tipping. It is particularly useful in retrofit projects where wall construction is unknown or fragile.
Stable Base with Low Profile
The stand features a flat base that sits flush on the floor, keeping the radiator at the appropriate height while maintaining a low profile that does not obstruct cleaning or foot traffic. The base is reinforced at the corners to prevent warping under load. Mounting holes on the top plate are spaced to match the standard foot centres of common radiator brands.
Protecting the Floor Surface
Optional rubber pads can be fitted to the underside of the base. These pads serve two functions: they prevent the steel base from scratching or corroding the floor finish, and they absorb minor vibrations that would otherwise transfer into the building structure. This makes the stand suitable for installations in finished buildings.
Speedy Installation
Installation requires no wall drilling. The stand is placed in position, leveled, and the radiator is bolted onto the top plate. The entire process takes minutes, compared to the time required for wall anchors and masonry work. This is a particular advantage for contractors working on tight schedules.
