The powder coating booth serves as the core component of the electrostatic powder coating system; it utilizes an aerodynamic design to maintain stable internal airflow, keeping the powder concentration below the Lower Explosive Limit (LEL)-specifically under 10 g/m³-to ensure operational safety.
The system employs a vertical laminar airflow design, with an exhaust system maintaining a steady velocity of 0.3–0.6 m/s to effectively capture 98% of suspended powder particles. A dual-stage filtration barrier is integrated: a primary metal screen filters out large impurities, while secondary fiber filter cartridges capture fine dust, ensuring the particle size of recirculated powder remains ≤80 μm.
A digital control system monitors dust concentration in real-time, automatically activating emergency extraction if levels exceed 25% of the LEL (i.e., 2.5 g/m³). A V-shaped powder collection trough at the base, combined with PTFE-coated interior walls, boosts the residual powder removal rate to 99%.
